How to do the AI Christmas photo trend for free (with prompts)
Add one selfie, pick a scene, get four holiday photos of yourself. We tested six scenes on four people and share the exact prompts.
To do the AI Christmas photo trend for free, add one selfie to our AI Christmas photo generator, pick a scene, from a fireplace to a snowy street, and get four holiday photos of yourself in a couple of minutes. We ran all six scenes on four people, fixed two faults the test found, and give the exact prompts below.
A note before the comparison: we make one of these tools, and it is the only one we tested ourselves. For the others, every claim below comes from their own pages, linked where it appears and checked the day this guide went live.
Four portraits of adults: a woman with long straight hair, a woman with coily hair, a man with wavy hair and a man with short straight hair. Each got all six scenes: 24 runs of 60 to 151 seconds, four pictures each, 92 returned. Every picture kept the face, hair and skin tone. Two faults: glasses were added to the man without glasses in 2 of his 24 pictures, and in the Christmas tree scene the men stood far from the camera, the face small, in 6 of 8. We changed the prompt the same day and ran those again: no glasses in 23 of 23 pictures of that man, and the tree scene framed from the waist up in 16 of 16.

Which prompts work for an AI Christmas photo?

Place the person from this photo into the Christmas scene described below, as a real holiday photograph. Keep the person exactly the same: face shape, eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth, ears, skin tone and skin texture, age, figure, hair colour and hairstyle, and facial hair; glasses only if the person wears them in the photo, and no accessory that is not in the photo; keep a natural expression close to the one in the photo. Change the clothes, the background and the light as the scene says. Waist-up or head and shoulders, the face sharp and in the upper middle of the frame, the whole head in the frame. Photorealistic, natural skin, warm believable light, shallow depth of field. One person only. No text, no letters, no watermark, no logos. If the photo shows a child or a teenager, more than one face, or a well-known public figure, do not create an image. Scene: a cozy living room on Christmas Eve, the person in a soft knit sweater sitting by a lit stone fireplace with stockings hung on the mantel, garlands and warm fairy lights, a mug of cocoa in hand, warm firelight on the face.

Questions and answers
Is there a free AI Christmas photo generator?
Yes. Ours is free to start with no subscription, CapCut calls its generator free, and Generor has one free model.
Will the Christmas photo still look like me?
It should. In our test every picture kept the face, hair and skin tone; only the outfit, the place and the light change.
Can I do the AI Christmas photo trend in Gemini?
You can paste the prompts above with your selfie into any tool that edits a photo with Nano Banana. We ran them in our own tool, not in the Gemini app.
Can I make a Christmas photo of my family or my kids?
Not on ours: every photo goes through an age check, one adult face per photo, and a photo that shows a child or a teenager is refused.
What happens to the photo I upload?
On ours, it is used only for the run and deleted when the run ends; the pictures stay in your Generations until you delete them.
