One sentence turned a t-shirt and sweatpants into a navy suit for a job interview. The hallway, the light, his beard and his face stayed as they were.

Your photoWhat can I wear with the AI outfit changer?
Any outfit you can describe. Each pair is a real edit, your photo on the left; press one to put its words in the box above.
How to change clothes in a photo with AI
Three steps, and the last one repeats as often as you like.

Press + Photo and pick a clear JPG or PNG under 10 MB where your clothes are in view.

Name each piece with its color and fabric, then say what stays: a sage linen shirt and light chino shorts.

Add the result as your new photo and ask for the next change, like a white shirt and a straw hat.
How do I describe an outfit so it comes out right?
Name every piece you want, with its color, fabric and length, then say what must stay. "A red knee-length summer dress, keep her face, hair and the street exactly the same" works better than "something nice for a date".
For more wording to copy, the outfit prompts on our photo prompt list show each change next to the photo it started from.
Phrases that work
- Name the piece"A navy two-piece suit", not "smart clothes".
- Color and fabric"Emerald satin", "camel wool", "indigo cotton".
- Fit and length"Knee-length", "elbow-length sleeves", "well-fitted".
- Say what stays"Keep the face, hair, pose and background the same."
- Name what goes"Change his grey hoodie" tells it which clothes to swap.
Nano Banana or Flux Kontext for a new outfit?
Both kept every face. In our seven test outfits Nano Banana followed the words more closely: the right jacket color, the coat buttoned, the pose unchanged. Flux Kontext drew crisper fabric and shine, but in four of seven it got a detail wrong or added one we had not asked for.
| Outfit | Nano Banana | Flux Kontext |
|---|---|---|
| 01Job interview: navy suit | Suit and open collar as asked (used) | Suit as asked, added a pocket square |
| 02Wedding guest: emerald dress | Dress right, kept her white sneakers | Satin dress, belt and clutch as asked (used) |
| 03Date night: red summer dress | Red dress and black jacket as asked (used) | Dress right, the jacket came out blue |
| 04Winter: camel coat and scarf | Buttoned coat and plaid scarf (used) | Coat left open, hands moved to pockets |
| 05Festival: indigo yukata | Yukata, morning glories and obi (used) | Yukata and obi right, star-shaped flowers |
| 06Sports: striped football kit | Striped kit, shorts and socks (used) | Striped kit as asked |
| 07Family party: tweed blazer | Grey tweed, blue shirt and tie (used) | Darker suit, framing moved closer |
What is an AI clothes changer?
An AI clothes changer redraws the clothes in a photo you already have from a written description, so you can see yourself in an outfit before you buy it, borrow it or pack it. Ours sends your photo and your words to Nano Banana or Flux Kontext and keeps your face, pose and background.
It runs in the browser on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install. You need a free account to send a photo, and every result is kept in Generations.
What people use it for
- Plan an outfitSee the interview suit or the wedding dress on you first.
- Profile photosA sharper outfit on the photo you already like.
- Try a new styleA color or a cut you would not risk in a shop.
- Dress for the seasonA summer photo in a winter coat, or the other way.
Is it a virtual try on for a shop item?
Not yet. The tool reads the outfit from your words, not from a second photo of a garment, so it cannot copy a print or a logo from a shop picture exactly. Describe the piece instead: its color, fabric, cut and one or two details. That is close enough to judge a color or a length on you.
Will it still look like me?
Mostly, when you ask for it. Both engines are built to keep the person, and ending with "keep the same facial features" holds a face well through a new outfit.
It is still a new picture, so small things can drift: an earring, a hand, a strand of hair. A long coat or a dress also changes how much of your body shows, so the engine fills in what the old clothes hid. If something moved, name it in the next change or pick another picture from the same try.
Questions about the AI clothes changer
What people ask before their first outfit.
A tool that changes the clothes in a photo you upload from a written description. You type "a navy suit with a white shirt" and get the same photo back with that outfit on.
Yes. It is free to start and runs online in your browser. Edits use a little energy, which refills with a daily bonus and when you share, post or invite friends. There is no subscription to cancel.
Add your photo with + Photo, describe the outfit in one sentence with colors and fabrics, say what must stay the same, and send. Each try returns several pictures to choose from.
Not today. The tool takes the outfit from your words, not from a garment photo. Describe the piece in detail, its color, fabric, cut and pattern, and you get a close match.
Suits, dresses, coats, sports kits, uniforms, costumes and traditional dress, in any color or fabric you name. For traditional dress, name the garment and how it is worn, like a yukata with the left side over the right.
Yes. Requests to undress someone, make clothes see-through or turn an outfit sexual are refused, and repeated tries pause generation on the account. Use it on photos of adults only: yourself, or someone who agreed.
A clear, well-lit JPG or PNG under 10 MB, one person, standing or sitting with the clothes you want changed in view. A photo from the knees up shows a new outfit better than a close-up.
Before it leaves your browser, your photo is turned into a plain JPEG with location and camera data removed. It is used for your edit, and your results are kept in Generations in your account.
